Motul Specific C40

Hello and good day fellow enthusiasts.

I had a conversion earlier with Motul tech support about their recommendation for an oil with VW 511.00 approval. My reason for reaching out was due to X-CLEAN 5w40 losing the approval and was wondering if an alternative was in the works.

The Motul representative mentioned that in the next quarter that the company is slated to release Motul Specfic C40 which will also carry a VW 511.00 approval.

I'm sharing this info since I searched the forum and did not locate any relevant topics or posts with my query.

For those that are interested in this product, it looks like the release date is delayed to Q3.

However, I was able to get the following product SKUs and descriptions:

• 113929 | Specific C40 5w40 12x1L
• 113943 | Specific C40 5w40 4x5L
