I think Motul oils tend to often have poor price per performance (value). That’s what would concern me most. Being made in Vietnam reduces my enthusiasm even more.

Indeed. I personally knew a few Aussie units that joined us for the Viet Nam party. Great guys they were. On the oil being made in Viet Nam thing.. I have always liked and respected the Vietnamese people. The movies and news print did not do them justice. I would buy just about any product made in Viet Nam. It is really sad we threw them under the bus in 1975. I was still in uniform and got to participate in that little adventure also. I am glad their resiliency prevailed and they are becoming a solid economic entity.
