Motul 8100 X-Cess VS Selenia WR

I have to do an oil change on my small van pretty soon and since the warranty has ended (thank God!) I don't have to take it to the stealership anymore.
The car is a Fiat Doblo Cargo 1.3 Diesel Multijet and the manual asks for Selenia WR but I can get the Motul for a better price and wanted to ask you for your opinion on this one.

How much cheaper is the Motul? They make very good oils.

Does it call for a 30 weight or 40 weight oil? You have one of each listed.

The engine calls for 5w30, 10w30, 10w40 and 5w40

I can get Motul for $9/liter with tax and Selenia would be 13$/liter with tax, but Selenia coms only in 2 liter containers and I only need 3 liters for an oil change

Go with what is cheaper, they are both great true Synthetics.

Then the Motul is probably the best way for you to go. IIRC, this oil is not quite as robust as their 300V offering, but it's still a very good group IV/V oil that is capable of extended OCIs in a machine that is running well.

Motul's oils are excellent. If you can get those at a good price, stick with them.

I would use the 300V but the car is a diesel and the motul website recommends 8100 X-Cess or 8100 X-Clean
