Any EcoBoost may have fuel dilution, that would punish the viscosity. Blackstone can’t report fuel accurately. Try Oil Analysers lab or others, who use actual gas chromatography to determine fuel.

Unusual to see Motul used in a F150 EB. @bfleeman does (or did), his results were excellent, but it was a different version of Motul. Some good 0w40 (Euro M1 0w40, Castrol 0w40 if you can find it, or other name brand might be even better, strictly because of viscosity. But Motul is good stuff, just not sure if this particular version is thick enough to withstand the fuel. Though I suggested 0w40, a 5w40 would also work, and Motul makes a 5w40. My ‘15 EB is different from your G2. I’m still hunting for a good solution myself, though driving it sparingly nowadays. Best of luck with it. Thanks for posting

I run a european shop and we use Motul almost exclusively. I figured the EB is a turbo GDI, so why not try what BMW/Mini uses for their turbo GDI engines? I went with Motul 8100 Xclean+ 5w30 this time around.

Can’t say I agree with your thinking on choosing an LL-01 oil, but it survived. Don’t see very many add packs at all like this one any more these days.

Since your numbers appear to show fairly healthy dilution, I agree with Impatient on checking out one of the shelf 0w40s. I put ~72% of your total miles on my truck in each of the last 2 years, and fuel hasn’t been an issue for me.

I’m thinking the XClean+ will probably have the same dilution issues but it will be interesting to see. Thanks for the UOA.
