Seems like Motul has selection galore when it comes to their engine oils. This particular one is popular amongst Subaru owners. Polaris red flagged it for sodium content. I sent a copy of this to Motul Tech. They said it is their oil, within spec, and the sodium content is part of it. This particular 5-liter jug I bought off of E-bay. It is made in USA, though it is a French company.

It is a French company, but they blend it here (not sure who does it for them).
IMO, X-Clean 0W30 EFE is better stuff. It is 25% PAO. It says 5W30, but it is mistake.

I just noticed that the Detergent pack seems to be different for 0w30 and 5w30. The former is near zero magnesium

I have a new 5-liter jug of the Motul 8100 X Clean EFE 0W-30 on the floor behind me here that I got yesterday from "The Parts Container" store on E-Bay. This particular jug says "made in France" on it. And yes, they do blend their lubes at different places around the world though.

I know high TBN isn’t supposed to be a thing to worry about anymore but holy moly. That’s very low on both reports

Is it a cause for concern? Who knows
