Motul 8100 X-Clean + 5w-30??

about xcess both gen 1 and gen 2 ..a friend of mine used both of them in 3 different cars.,but not bmws.
he told me that it takes a long time to pump that oil .did you notice that too?

its a good oil, my engine likes it. hths is 3.5 and 11.8 kv,its not bad.
the only negative is the high noack , the mb limit, of 10%
a good group 3 with 1-2% of esters maybe?

i am thinking of trying mobil 0-30 with more esters on my next fall-winter OCI.
i like the thought of esters in my engine

Not sure if there are any esters in.
But, I just put it in my Toyota, and it is very smooth, even compared to Castrol Edge 0W30 I just dumped.

Actually, this is where I got confused. Oil.ru did VOA, and pour point was -46c, and Noack 8.1%.

There is actually EFE version of it (5W-30)
8100 X-CLEAN EFE 5W-30, which might be better than 8100 X-CLEAN EFE 5W-30. Higher flash, lower pour point, higher TBN, NOACK 7.7

x-Clean+ 0W30 EFE is step up from this oil.

No, probably around 9, I would assume, considering base stocks and the fact it is 0W.

this one is from 2022..the revision date of the one i posted on previous page is from 2020 with -36. doesnt make sense!
could there be a different additive package for them bcs. of very cold weather? i mean i know recipe is universal but..

I am thinking it is same base stocks as viscosity index is absolutely same.
