Motul 8100 X-CESS 5W40 GEN 2

bcs they still produce gen 1 in par with gen 2? and gen 1 is cheaper by 10 euros.but that thing with the approval, its a mess.lets hope motul answers to my question which i doubt.
6 years ago these new fuel efficiency/environmental rules put blenders in trouble and caused a mess with approvals until today.

meanwhile on motul site in the oil suggestions for my car xcess gen 1 is missing? to buy or not to buy? is there reapproval or not? is this oil i found with approval form an official supplier of motul the real one or a monkey on the trees? i typed n43 but the results show only n45 engine,i guess its identical suggestion

I wanted to add that all Motul Xcess Gen2 5w-40 bottles labeled API SN are in fact currently API SQ certified.

I emailed Motul tech support with concerns of LSPI for my 2025 Nissan Armada requiring API SP oil according to the manual and warranty concerns.

Attached is what Motul sent me assuring me the SN formulation was currently SQ certified.

That's all I got for now folks.

Your Armada should not have LSPI issues.
