The synthetics of Motul 6100 and 8100 will behave better than many of our competitors in racing engines. But if only the best will do, if hot spots can reach 350 C/750 F, your race engine needs Motul 300 V. In 300 V, the best Ester synthetic technology has been adapted from Jet planes to car racing: ultra low-friction for more horsepower, oil temperature up to 185 C/365 F, 0% shear loss to keep full protection past the finish line!! 300 V Esters will also leave a film to prevent metal-to-metal start-ups. Over the years, Motul 300 V has been used in the most prestigious race engines, ranging from Formula 1 to World Rally Championship to 24 Hours in Le Mans or Daytona. Many car manufacturers have had race programs running on 300 V, thus contributing new testing to the ever improving formula. The 300 V you buy is the real thing, not a "look-alike" product!
Only the racing series is 100% ester. Does anyone know how long you can run the 300V 0w-20 oil?
The rest of their oils are blends.
