This is from my tuned, deleted, gt37 turbo 2011 Ford F550 6.7 powerstroke diesel. It had 250 hours and almost 9000 kms with schaeffers 5w40. The same motorcraft went back on with some rotella 0w40 for winter duty.

Yep, found the same on the Deere easy change filter element. While I've read comments that some think wire preferable/better, imo polymer every bit as good.
Yea I have no real issue with these filters. Very strong backing. Great filter. Much better than the original motorcraft that it replaced (fl2051s). I think I’ll extend these oil changes to beyond 250 hours.

While this is about filters, I can't say I am impressed by someone who comes on the site and tells us that he has removed his emissions system, thereby breaking the law and causing high levels of air pollution. We all pay the price when we breathe.

My apologies good sir. But when it was out of warranty and the emissions system failed taking out the turbo with it… it got upgraded some went on a weight loss diet. Now it gets much better fuel economy and has good power. It would struggle pulling loads before and now it seems so easy. All while getting single digit fuel economy all the time I went from getting 6mpg and sometimes worse to a consistent 16. It is emitting more emissions. I know that. And it tears me up. I am a conservationist. To a point. I wish these worked better especially up here in the cold. I can say that the mods performed have greatly reduced its fuel consumption and increased power. And I’ll keep it for as long as I can with this setup. If and when emissions regulations become a thing around here it will be retired to off road farm use.
