Tig1: go ahead and use MC filters all day. I have saw enough and cut some open and just don't think quality is Puro/Motorcrafts "top priority"


Funny that you haven't cut any of your FL-910S lately so you don't know what shape they are in. Yes, that's my opinion btw

Everyone Ive cut open looked good. I don't run my oil for long intervals though. I still have two left. Ill use them up.

Currently the Mustang is running a M1 filter. It seems like a solid option.

I have cut apart 910s lately and they have been spot on even at 10K OCIs. I just changed oil and filter yesterday in the Focus, and the filter was great. So your opinion must be wrong.

Thankfully, we live in a relatively free country (most of us, anyhow) and have an awful lot of choice when it comes to oil and oil filters. Run what makes you happy, I won't judge, and nobody else should, either.
