Motorcraft Fl-500s off 2012 Explorer 5000 Miles

Ran for 5000 miles with Motorcraft 5w-20 changed to another 500s with Mobil 1 Extended Performance no tearing or any problems noted I have had nothing but good luck with these .

That pleat spacing looks pretty good, my last FL910S I cut open after 5k had no tears but the pleat spacing at the seam was ugly.

This was the second one I have cut open, no photos of first but looked very similar

On the 2nd picture, at the top to the left of the glued seam, anything torn there? Doesn't look quite right.

No tear, was a little bit pushed to the side but it held just fine. Took a good look when I cut cuz I noticed the same thing.

That looks like a Motorcraft should.
