Looks good! I thought the efficiency was higher than that? Don't remember now where I got that idea.
I tried pulling the top and bottom apart by hand, didn't come apart..
I also just tried pulling the louvers apart they would not tear, pretty well made..

USCAR-36 says an oil filter must be at least 95% @ 30u, and Motorcrafts meet USCAR-36. 95% @ 30u may be pretty close to the 80% @ 20u that Motorcraft use to claim. Then you have the old ISO-4548-12 efficiency info from Amsoil showing an FL-820S at 93.7% @ 20u.

USCAR-36 is a specification that just says it has to be at least that efficient ... so it could be more efficient. You wouldn't know unless the filter was actually ISO 4548-12 tested.

Yeah, but finding the efficiency results claims may be a trip down the rabbit hole, lol.
Maybe I can email them that at the same time, as I email them the micron rating?Like our govt releasing information related to JFK….
