Motorcraft Equivalent of AcDelco PF47

Quick question, What would be a direct replacement for the AcDelco PF47? Im kinda thinking if i go back to my 3K OCI's i'm not going to be using the Ecore.. Right now using a extended guard and Mobil 1 High Mileage Synthetic for a 6K run. ill see how much i have to add, if more then 1 QT, its back to mobil super HM 10W30 and i hope a motorcraft for filter for 3K oci

While we are at at, how about any replacement for the PF47e? Thanks!.

Motorcraft FL 321 is the AC PF 47 equivalent.
For a 3 to 5K OCI you could use Puro Classic, Napa Silver, AC or just about any other filter (even the OCOD).

Per Fram's Competitor Cross Reference:

Motorcraft: FL318
Motorcraft: FL321

The difference between the two Motorcrafts? No idea.

If you're interested, the Classic design PF 47 is still available. See my "Exposed" thread a few lines down to compare it to the e-core.

+1 i have noticed rockauto has the odd ball motorcraft filters now, and Mahle filters. plus AC Delco classics.

next order, I'm probably gonna pick up one or both, depending on shipping.

A little longer version of that filter is the PF-52. I think the longer Motorcraft number is FL-402.

instead of the motorcraft, just get a Purolator instead.

If you have one in your area AutoZone has the non-Ecore PF47s as well. Same with the PF-52.

Agree.....Purolator PureOne are great mid-tier filters....and can be had with a $3 rebate (up to 4). Hard to beat price.
