Saw Motor UP on the shelf at B Lots, never heard of it, so for fun have any of u seen the stuff. It was a $1.50, retail was $13.00 on the label.

From what I heard, take that with a grain of salt, because I only heard it was very corrosive to aluminum engines because of the ingrediants of it. I saw it and was tempted to try it to. But the car I would be trying it in has a aluminum engine, so I didnt.

If I remember correctly, they originally sold it on a TV infomercial. I remember they went to a junkyard and put it in an old junker, the man at the junkyard exclaimed "This engine used to run like sh*t, but now it runs like a new car!"
Another miracle additive, mechanic in a can, I wouldnt buy it if it were a nickle.

isnt that some sort of chlorinated compound?
big lots is the dumping grounds for failed "as seen on tv" junk.

I loved it because when I bought it like 15 years ago it had a money back guarantee. Paid like $35 Canadian for it. Of course it did nothing, so I sent my claim to an address in AZ and got a cheque, like six months later, for $35 US. at the time the Canadian dollar was worth $0.75, so I made a few bucks on the transaction. I remember the infomercial. They had two engines in a room that was 40 below zero. For good measure, the motor up treated engine was encased in over a foot of ice. Then they sprayed liquid nitrogen on them which is like 200 below zero. They chipped the ice away from the fan on the motor up engine and turned the key. VROOOM! Of course the non treated engine didn't even turn over, Motor up wins! I wonder how many people didn't stop to think that the ice encased motor was insulated by the ice and was way WARMER than the exposed engine! Gotta love advertisers!
