I won't see you on your way home. I make a point not to go into SE LA anymore.
If your bed is empty and you're not towing anything, what's the point in having a truck? Could you not haul 3" diaphragm pumps, hoses & air compressor in a sedan or hatchback just as easily and get twice the fuel economy? Just a thought.
You know I never tried or seen anyone attempt it in a hatchback, but Ill pass either way.
4 or 5 of these
A few rolls of these
And this behind it all
Nah Im not going to attempt that with anything less then a half ton. Despite the fact that I am wasting fuel cause I ride empty to go home or the living quarters (have no need for any of that stuff to sleep kwim?) I will take the truck over a car anyday. I know where you are coming from as far as having and not really needing a truck, we recently got my wife into her Fusion down from 2 full size trucks, but I need my 1/2 ton at work. I was just pointing out a scenario where the truck is actually used just not in an area where it will be seen loaded down by everyone.
