Motor Oil Detergents

First and Foremost, Happy Veteran's Day to those who have served our country!

Regarding motor oils - Mainly 0w-XX and 5w-xx weights, which oils have absolute highest amount of detergents? What really made me think of the question was a link I saw on a Mobil 1 page that showed an engine with a pretty good amount of sludge/carbon nearly spotless after 14,000 miles. I believe it was their 0w-40 oil. The players that come to mind regarding great detergent packs are AMSOIL Signature Series, Pennzoil Ultra, and Mobil 1. I've heard that Royal Purple has a pretty good detergent pack as well.

Thoughts? Facts?

Nothing like a spotless engine, worn out before its time.

Be careful as some formulations could trade cleanliness for wear rate. No free lunch there, baby.

You know, I recently converted a vehicle of mine to Pennzoil Platinum and observed the same varnish removal on my dipstick as well. As a result, I will be upgrading to Ultra since it's only a $1.50 more in the 5qt. jug. I thought maybe it was just me.

I was more so curious of what other brands out there are on that level regarding cleanliness.
