Being a canadian and all i see adds for formula 1 motomaster engine oil all the time.... Is it any good? I hear that it is made by shell, is it the same oil or shell oil with a poor additive pack? I see they have 5w20 versions of this and it's dirt cheap. Is it any good? If so it be awesome if i can get 5w20 for like 15 bucks a jug. If anyone can give me the low down on the motomaster brand oil, it be great.

Actually the Formula 1 oil is on sale right now at CT for $10.49 a jug! I'm pretty sure that includes 5w20. From what I've heard and read here it's a pretty decent oil. Stock up!

Here, motomaster dino is the same price as pennzoil and valvoline.. quaker state etc. IF it were ME, I would use a known brand.

Are you sure about the pricing? Every CT I've been to in Ontario has the same pricing, they sell their Formula 1 conventional for just under $3.40 per liter, while the name brand stuff like GTX and Pennzoil is $3.99 per liter. And the Formula 1 stuff goes on sale a lot more often too (such as this week it's $10.49 for a 4.4 L jug)

Yeah, I was in the oil section
Pennzoil was right under the Formula 1
BOTH for 3.99
