does geforce mx420 fall into this category?
I did not read the article, but geforce is an NVIDIA card.
They promise that everytime they update their Catalyst drivers. I haven't noticed any changes in my frames per second on CS:Source since I updated to Catalyst 7.10.

Performance increases for certain games are what we are expecting by now from driver updates, but version 7.10 certainly is a standout."
That's the point. It's for driver compatibility with newer games. Sadly, I still can't play Jade Empire SE with Anti-Aliasing because of a driver incompatibility with my Radeon X850 Pro.... :-(

and i still cant get my s-video output to work!
*Do* update your ATI drivers. They stop a BSOD issue with XP & the new ATI 2400 HD cards.
