Just an observation in my particular application:
After having been using Delo 15w-40 for the past 100k miles in my 384k mile Legend, the check oil level warning (one quart low) would consistently come on approxomately 4500 miles into my 5000 OCI.
The last oil change, I put in some Pennzoil 10w-40 that I had laying around. The check oil level light just came on at 3500 miles.
I'm curious to see what happens when I go back to Delo 15w-40.
BTW, the car is driven over the same roads, under the same conditions with both oils.
