Mopar 8/9 Speed fluid - ZF LG8 or LG9?

Planning on doing a pan drop soon on my JLU with the ZF 8 Speed. Had a shop do it once at 64k miles, at 120k now. Shop used the Mopar fluid before, thinking about getting ZF fluid this time. Is Lifeguard 8 or 9 equivalent to the Mopar stuff? Just want to make sure I get the right stuff.

Out of warranty so no excuse to use something much better and similarly priced if not cheaper than that overpriced swill. I'd rather buy amsoil or hpl if it costs about the same as the zf stuff.

I was planning to run Maxlife in our three of 8 speed vehicles. I found PetroCan Duradrive LV locally in 20L pails for cheaper that I'll run.
