Monarch 9mm 115 grain brass case

We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse yesterday for New Years. Academy is right across the street. I went and picked up 250 rounds for the $49.

Target Sports USA is about the best I've found for ammunition.
I'll not give that clown at SGAMMO my business. His monthly fabricated " ammo shortages" is why.
I’ve never had a problem with SG but there’s a first time for everything I guess

I never gave a range report on the Monarch ammo from a couple weeks ago. Monarch shot great through a Glock 19, Sig P365 and even the finicky Taurus G3C. The Maxxtech ammo, however, had several light primer strikes in the Taurus. The Glock and the Sig shot the Maxxtech just fine.

I would say the Monarch Ammo is good stuff. Shot 250 rounds and not a single issue in 3 9mm's.

I will not buy the Maxxtech again, however. Noticed some of the primers were recessed too low in the casing. Not flush. Monarch looked perfect.

I picked up some Blazer Brass a few weeks ago. Haven't shot it yet. A couple people that went to the bowling shootout (range has a bowling pin competition every week) and several people were shooting Blazer Brass. Didn't see any issues with it. Plan to put a couple hundred rounds of this through the Ruger RXM shortly.

I've shot a buttload of Monarch 9mm . My only issue was finding a round missing from the box on a couple of occasions . That was a few years ago and no problems since .

OT but related....I notice that they sell a 9mm 'Luger' and a 9mm 'NATO' round. What's the difference?

9mm nato is usually loaded a bit hotter to almost plus P pressures. The primer and bullet are usually sealed with a sealant to prevent moisture intrusion.

Most 9mm nato ammo I have shot seems to be higher quality than run of the mill 9mm ammo.

I shot 250 rounds on Wednesday. All went well. How long do we expect this sale to last?
