Good oil.
good stuff, best used oil analysis in my car.

I plan to switch to it in all of my vehicles at the next OC. I have been stocking up on it from the OR and AZ specials that have been running of late. It seems to be a top quality conventional oil.
I did a VOA with a particle count on Super in 5W-20:

I would use it in a heart beat. I've got a lot of Havoline stacked up at the moment though...
its priced pretty good at wm
IMO...the particle count in PU should be higher since the add pack in the high quality synthetic is loaded with premium additives.....vs the Mobil conventional with the new sodium add pack.
IMO....Its like comparing apples to oranges.
Pennzoil uses the traditional add pack loaded with lots of goodies...including a hefty dose of MOLY and BORON.
The Mobil Super Conventional uses the SODIUM fortified add pack like Valvoline conventional and Castrol GTX.
So......Mobil conventional for $2 a quart, before rebate, at AZ, is a good deal for a short OCI.

My guess is that the Mobil Super 5000 is very close to be just as good (if not better in some catagories) as Pennzoil conventional.

I'm on my 2nd run of it now and going for the 5k. My last was 3k and gave my best used oil analysis numbers yet.

Do you have source that details this? Is your assumption based upon the thought the particles are the additive pack?
