Mobil 1's Oil Filter Rating

I was wondering what the actual Micron rating of Mobil 1 Oil filters are. On there website they say that the filters are 99% efficient on the ISO 4548-12 Test. At what Micron are they 99% efficient?


I would assume 20 and above, like every other high end filter.
 
Mobil1 claims 99.6% @ 25 um according to their website. That's in the range of the other premium fitlers. Their PH8A equivalent M1 is rated for a capacity of 28 grams, which is very good for a cellulose element (must have lots of media).

Does anyhone know if the flow rate of the regular Mobil 102 and the extended 209 are the same?
All things being equal, I would rather use the larger filter. Did this on my last Toyota Tundra but wondering if the same would be true with my new Tacoma...
 
If the 209 has a little more media area, then the delta-P across it will be slightly less at the same flow rate. Both are forced to flow the same by the positive displacement oil pump ... until the pump hits pressure relief. If the larger filter fits, then use it. Many people "up size" their oil filters.
