I have had two oil changes with Mobil 1R on my Toyota Sequoia (twin overhead cam V-8)
Analysis are as follows for Mobil 1 10W-30, Mobil 1R with 8,000 miles, Mobil 1R with 9,713 miles.

Iron: 8, 9, 10
Chromium: 0, 0, 0
Lead: 5, 0, 2
Copper: 15, 7, 7
Tin: 5, 0, 1
Aluminum: 2, 2, 2
Nickel: 0, 1, 1
Silicon: 16, 11, 11
Boron: 75, 147, 123
Sodium: 11, 15, 19
Potassium: 2, 2, 2
Magnesium: 1468, 23, 20
Calcium: 748, 2529, 2521
Phosphorous: 867, 1839, 1682
Zinc: 1025, 1929, 1913
Molybdenum: 1, 77, 71
Viscosity @100c: 10.2, 10.9, 11.3

This vehicle sees mixed driving: everything from serious off-highway, towing a 5,000 pound boat, to extended freeway driving. Current miles are 102,000. Oil usage between changes:
Zero...... Gasl mileage increased average .7 mph overall vs. Mobil 1 10W-30. Start-up valve train tap/rap after cold start eliminated.
As previously indicated, currently running Mobil 1R in my Corvette (not enough miles for analysis yet), Cadillac Seville/Northstar, Suzuki Aerio (analysis to be posted soon), etc. etc.

It does looks correct for Tri Synthetic Mobil 1 though, which is probably what he was using on that interval.

I picked up some mobil 1R from AVlube a few months ago. I can't wait to try it.

Finally, some has posted a UOA of this oil. Thank you very much. Aside from the iron, the wear seems to have been dramatically reduced.

Got to get some more for my Max. Had some in the Max a while back but my spouse did an oil change on the car without me knowing about it when I was out of town for three weeks. I was getting about a one mpg gain and the butt dino was telling me it was a lot sronger of the blocks.

Sorry, my bad, guess I had SuperSyn on the brain.

Looks like M1R shows remarkable improvement. It will be inteesting to see how it does in the Vette. Will the thicker is better theory explode?

My Northstar is too leaky to waste good oil. Maybe the new ones don't do this.

Northstar, leaking rear seal, yes, very familiar; standard equipment with most Northstars, unforunately... Mobil 1 0W-40 helps minimize the leak rate but........
