The engine now has Mobil 1 10W-30 Tri-Syn SL in the crankcase. After that I have no Tri-Syn left in my stock. Any comments on this UOA trend or suggestions as to what to use "post Tri-Syn" would be appreciated.

Kinda high Si and Na for short miles but wearage numbers look great!!

It makes me also wonder - the slight Si blip up to 24 ppm Si caused by the cleaning and opening of the TB? (air intake)

Wow you have the supercharger installed, how is it? Worth the bang for your buck?

I have the 5sfe 4cylinder, nothing I can do for that

The supercharger really woke this car up. The only downside is first and second gear traction is limited with the increased power. In my opinion I got a lot of bang for my buck with this installation. Plus nobody expects a Camry to move quite like this one does.

Regarding the 5S-FE, a solution some have used is a 3S-GTE swap, but cost is pretty steep.

The wear numbers are too good for abrasive wear from the silicon. If you were getting abrasive wear, some chromium would show in your report. I wonder what the silicon might be from?

Those are my thoughts too. The silicon seems high and it's getting worse. Where are the Chromium numbers?

I forgot to state that if an element is not listed, it was zero in all tests. Thus, Cr = 0 for all four intervals.

Remember that this the the infamous 1MZ engine... That considered, your numbers look alright, especially TBN and viscosity, though I am not a lube engineer.

Jay,

The throttle body was cleaned 200 miles into the interval and perhaps the TB cleaner contains silicone? I understand that silicon and silicone both will show as Si on an oil analysis report.

To all,

Thanks for the feedback on my UOA trend. Any recommendations on what oil to run now that I have used all of my M1 Tri-Syn?

On my 92 Camry V6 I never had a silicon number under 20 ppm @7500 mile OCIs until the engine reached 85,000 miles. Now at 155,000. I would not be concerned with this silicon number.

results look good to me. My engine also beats up the oil, TBNs in the 3-6 range after 7500 miles for me with Amsoil 10W30. TBN starts out around 11.5 on mine.

M1 seems to be working for your car. Why not keep up the trend and use M1 SS 10w30? Best bang for the buck if you can get the $18.88 5 qrt jugs at Walmart.
