Of the 0W20 weight, which is better for the money ?

Toyota
Honda
Mobil 1
Pennzoil Platinum
Valvoline Synpower

Since PP and Synpower 0W20 are hard to find at local stores, but they can be purchased online. Take that into account, what do you pick ?

Jury is out, I found an online source for Honda oil that would come out to about $77/case shipped if they don't charge tax to NY residents. That would beat the $75+ tax quote I got. I'm in no rush, actually gathering facts and killing time right now. Looking now for a Toyota source as I write this.

Like his way of thinking? I thought you were running M1 in your own cars Johnny?

People been saying that PP is better than regular M1, but how about Pennzoil Platinum vs M1 EP? What da heck is Pennzoil Ultra? I'll check it out at Walmart next time.

There is some Mobil 1 5W-20EP in the Mercury right now and I am trying some of the Mobil 1 0W-20 in one of my Honda Elements over the winter. Both extremely fine oils, but I will be going back to either Platinum or the new Ultra when I change the oil this spring.

Hey, at least I did not mix six different brands at the same time. Even a trained dog will stray from time to time.

I use both without any real preference.
I've got M1 in two cars at the moment, but both will likely be on PP at some future date, since I have a substantial stash of it, even some old BOGO stuff from AA.
Either oil will do well in your engine.

I heard that if you run M1 in your car, it will only last 800,000 miles. And if you run Pennzoil Platinum, it will last all the way up to 801,000 miles.

See, PP is better.

Personally, Pennzoil products have performed admirably in my rides. And of course, M1 has too.

+1 I'm more interested now in 0w20 Toyota/Honda oils than anything else.

Can't go wrong with either, imo. I'd use PP first, to get the super cleaning. Or better yet, use PU first. Then I'd go with M1 and compare UOA's and go from there.

I absolutely LOVE M1 0w-30 though. I have it in my daughter's new Cobalt and my wife's SUV that halls her and the kids all around. I have PP in my 2 cars though. So I'm 50/50 right now. lol
