+1 go by lowest price.

Heads PP wins, tails M1 loses. J/K

Thanks. If I ever end up in divorce court, I would like the papers to read something like this: "What's mine is mine, and what's hers is mine".

Glad my wife doesn't read these posts.

Flip a coin, heads PP tails PP. Much too many problems show up in these threads re. Mobil and much too many words are needed to explain away these problems. If it needs to be explained run away fast. I really think we all should shift our attention to the new oils Honda and pardon the mention Toyota. Now that stuff looks pretty neat.

I'm favorable of SOPUS products myself. I've thought about converting all my bulk over to Formula Shell only once the oil brand I have in there is depleted.

So what I'm saying is go with PP, lol.

I go with Pennzoil Platinum. I don't like to be associated with an oil that has so many people spell it wrong. Everytime I see it spelled Mobile by someone I think they are talking about cell phones.

I've been doing some reading up on them today. Seems for about $75/ 12 qt case you can try either oil. Now which oil, Honda or Toyota 0W20, gives the better bang for the same buck?

Last time I bought oil at WalMart (recently within last 3 weeks), Mobil 1 was cheaper that PP. I was going to buy PP, but decided to go with M1, couldn't see paying more for PP.

I say try both and see which you like better. I did, and I prefer PP, at least in 20 & 30-weight flavors.

Me, I think of the city in Alabama on the Gulf Coast, about 90 miles east of New Orleans.

Of the 0W20 weight, which is better for the money ?

Toyota
Honda
Mobil 1
Pennzoil Platinum
Valvoline Synpower

Since PP and Synpower 0W20 are hard to find at local stores, but they can be purchased online. Take that into account, what do you pick ?
