Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0w-40 for both V8s

I have been running Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0w-40 in the V8 4R, I believe, since I got it in '13. No issues, great used oil analysis. The 5.0 (using regular Mobil 1 5w-30) is coming to the end of its warranty and am thinking about using it in this V8, too, as it's a great oil and want to simplify the oil usage/changes/top-offs. I know there are a few guys using it on mustang6g.com...haven't heard any issues. Just curious.

I would have no problem running that on a Coyote. I currently have Mobil 1 5W50 Supercar in mine.

I’ve run my 21 Mustang GT 5.0 on anything from 0/5/10/15W-30/40/50. They’re not picky at all. Ford even recommends 5W-50 for track use.

My car is tuned on E85/93 with long tube headers. If I was boosted, which I plan to do soon, I’d run either a 40 grade euro oil or a 50 grade such as 5/15W-50

I run it in my tuned Coyote. It hasn’t blown up yet.

I run it in my 2016 Chevy SS Sedan LS3 V8 sedan. 111,000 miles without issues. It is a very good oil!
