Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15w50 Question

Alright, I was at Walmart today, and there was a clearance section (they are moving shelves, etc.). I found 4 quarts of Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15w-50 for $3 each, so I figured I'd pick them up. 3 bottles have the following:

Suitable for:
API SL/CF

And one bottle has:

ACEA A3, B3/B4, API SL/CF (along with the API circle)

Is the stuff without the API circle any different? I know it's probably group 3, but for $3 a quart I couldn't pass it up.

Might be Katrina blend. They are about to re-release Mobil 1 15w-50 and put it back to what it was before it went EP, which I have no clue what that means...

Buster,

That's not how I read it. Here is a quote directly from the Mobil 1 website regarding the re-introduced Mobil 1 15w50: "This is a new Mobil 1 15W-50 formulation and is not the same as the product that was marketed a few years ago."

To me, it sounds like they are two different products.

Any word on whether is't better or worse than normal EP? I went back to Walmart to see if they had any more (they didn't) and I saw the "new" non EP Mobil 1. $5.97/quart, but I didn't get any.
