One of the best 0w20's on the market IMO.

08/17/25 per ROC

1) Viscosity at 100°C is 8.14. The oil fully complies with the SAE J300 standard, and has the right to be called "twenty". The viscosity at 40°C is 40.68. The oil will be economical when warming up, driving "cold" and will be nimble during cold starts.
2) Viscosity dynamic CCS (simulated cold scrolling) at -35°C is 4124 mPas. Very good, with a huge margin. A very good base is visible, and you don't expect anything else from the top oil.
3) The base number is 8.21. It is common for its specifications.
4) Sulfate ash content is 0.74%. Very little. It is clear that they worked well on the additive package.
5) The flash point in the open cup is 235°C. NOACK is 10.5%. Excellent thermal stability for a low-viscosity oil! The oil has everything to work in the most difficult conditions and the most heat-loaded engines.
6) The pour point is -53°C. Another confirmation of a good base. Most likely, this is PJSC + GTL, perhaps just GTL, I will not dare to say unequivocally. But the base is top. The oil is saved only in Salekhard.
7) I see the additive package as balanced. Here is molybdenum to reduce the coefficient of friction, and boron (boron succinimides) as a dispersant that helps to retain particles of contaminants in suspension and does not allow them to settle in the engine, there is an unusually large number (for oils of these specifications) anti-wear additives based on phosphorus and zinc, detergents and neutralizing additives based on calcium. We are used to seeing modern calcium and magnesium oils, but Mobil specialists see a package for these specifications in this way.

I've got two jugs of this I'm going to use over my next two OCIs in my Subaru Outback Wilderness with the 2.4L TGDI engine. This oil is going to see a lot of cold temperatures during each OCI and I'm very curious to see what the fuel dilution numbers look like on the UOAs I'm planning to get. Green goodness 💚

I wonder how it compares to M1 EP 0w20? It lists on the SDS up to the same amount of PAO in the base oil. It also starts out a little thicker on the PDS at 8.8 @ 100 degrees.

6) The pour point is -53°C. Another confirmation of a good base. Most likely, this is PJSC + GTL, perhaps just GTL, I will not dare to say unequivocally. But the base is top. The oil is saved only in Salekhard.

If I may ask, I speak some Russian but I don't know exactly what you're referring to when you mention both PJSC and Salekhard in such context. If you could please elaborate my curiosity would appreciate it.

Спасибо :)
