How did you test the viscosity index?

Lol, well when i say i tested i meant i pay the bills for it . Any of the labs can test for it. Astm d2270

Blackstone's reading was within 3.5% of the 600ppm claim. And the other oil labs are in line (if not worse) so I think it's safe to say that Blackstone's numbers aren't 20% low across the board.

If anything they tend to be ever so slightly higher but all the 3 labs i use are generally within 5 percent of each other in any given direction. Blackstone does a good job imo at a very fair price for what they give. Flashpoint is a significant $ add on with polaris and wearcheck.
