Mobil 1 "Advanced Clean" 5w-30

I was honestly surprised how good Truck and SUV did. For years I thought it was just marketing for a tad higher viscosity. Who knew how shear stable it was!!
Wish he tested Hybrid too, folks speculate it fights moisture. Claims 15,000 miles too

So PAO is less than 30% in EP now. Keeps going down
Looks like between 10 and 25. But that´s 0w20. The 5w20, 5w30, and 10w30 haven´t had any on the SDS in quite a bit longer, if ever. IIRC, the ESP X2 0w20 is the same, between 10 and 25 percent.

That´s still better than any other over the counter 0w20 I´ve seen. I think ESP 0w30 is about the same, as well.

EP claims it removes sludge in one oil change. Their big claims are still there despite PAO going down.

Well, we don´t know everthing that is in it. Only what is vaguely represented in the SDS. It would be fun to know.

All I know is that when I had the valve covers off my 2008 Jeep Wrangler 3.8 to replace the gaskets, the engine looked like brand new. I think it had around 170,000 or 180,000 and mostly ran the regular Mobil 1 5w20. I´m not sure how long ago, if ever, it might have had any PAO. I just know that engine looked so good the Jeep tech asked me to come back and look at it and asked me what oil I was running. He said he´d not see one that clean with that many miles. It looked amazing. I wish I had taken photos.

Oh no, I'm not questioning that. It is a fantastic oil. Here's another proof

I’m very excited to hear if this actually is a new product that has similar piston ring carbon removal capabilities as VRP! I’m actually surprised that all of the big companies haven’t reverse engineered VRP to try and figure it out and come up with their own version. I think it’s only a matter of time before we start to see many similar products come out like that.

Yes, we live in great times.

WOW! I guess that stuff does work with 20k OCI´s. I´m not brave enough, but that is impressive!
500 miles at 75 mph, 5 days a week. What can go wrong with the oil. The guy doesn't even bother with used oil analysis and all that nonsense lol

Keep in mind this oil may never see the light of day and it's all speculation. It may have nothing to do with VRP. It's possible though. I noticed it while looking up a SDS for M1 ESP. There are oils listed in the MSDS that never made it to market - Mobil 1 Bio and Mobil 1 Turbo oil come to mind.

What is confusing about it? It says it is for hybrid vehicles, just like Truck & SUV is for hardworking engines.
Will my engine experience more wear if I run Mobil 1 EP 0W-20 vs. Mobil 1 Truck & SUV 0W-20 in my truck, while towing about 3000 Lbs. of equipment?
