Mobil 1- 5.79 per quart at Autozone now ?

I heard Autozone upped the price on all wt Supersyns to $5.79 a quart .

Is it true ?

I guess I could have called them but .....

I was at Autozone yesterday and it was $4.89

I work at Target and we just lowered prices on Mobil 1. Was $4.09 per quart and now is $3.89. However, we only carry 5W-30, 10W-30 and 15W-50.

I was at Autozone two days ago, and almost all of the syn oils were $4.99/quart, except for Castol Syntec (even GC) at $3.99 on sale.

And depending on which target you shop at, the prices may be different. With 3 Targets within 5 miles (you'd think I live where Target's headquarters are or something!), prices are often different at all three on the same item. Oil was one of them. I used to buy Durabelnd there before they stopped carrying it. One was always 2.49, another was 2.19, and the last was 1.89 a quart. Guess where I bought it!

Moral to the story - Target pricing is somewhat unpredictable locally, regionally, and nationally.
