AutoZone, Mobil 1 ATF

Its a high viscosity transmission fluid. Hence why it meets the Mercon V and JASO 1-A standard but nothing after the Dex3h time frame.
Should still be ok to top off newer vehicles but not do a full change with.
I bought some at the first price drop for transmissionfer case use …
Plenty of PAO etc, for long service etc …

You might want to check at the store anyway. Here in southeastern Wisconsin it didn't show any available but when I stopped in one store in Milwaukee they had about 10 in stock.
Folks with pre Dex 6 transmissions should jump on this …

Funny how this being listed as Multi-Vehicle ATF but it is more of a Dex 3 Mercon V fluid instead. Maybe domestic + non Honda Japanese ATF.

Still a great deal if you guys could get it. Sold out now.

Back in the day it may have had a Dexron III license.
it certainly did. tremec said that it was suitable in T56 transmissions, which could not use the dex vi fluids. Typically dex III's were a blend, but this was one of the only synthetics I believe. A big problem with the dex vi's was incompatibility with the paper blockers and notchy shifting in very cold weather. The only transmission fluid that I didn't have this issue with is the GM old Dex iii. It is now called manual transmission and transfer case fluid. i do have some ac delco synchromesh fluid that I am going to try next fluid change and see how it reacts in cold. I saw a report from tremec saying it was OK in a t56, but their official language is dex iii only.

In March 1993 I started using Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF in the automatic transmission and power steering system of a new 1993 Toyota pickup. I partially changed the fluid about every 30,000 miles. 30 years and 171,000 miles later there hasn't been any trouble or leaks. In March 1993 I also started using it in the power steering system of a 1989 Corolla. No trouble or leaks in that vehicles steering system after 324,000 miles.
