In many thousands of UOA I have yet to see an issue with tbnSo TBN and viscosity checks.
Which version of Mobil 1 0W-40/5W-40 is the famous one for cleaning up a sludged / varnished engine (possibly due to high Ester content), as there are many different Mobil 1 formulations?
