If you are using MMO, then it would be 2QT of MMO per 3200 miles.
Do you feel comfortable with that burn rate? What would you think if you were burning 2QT of oil per 3200 miles?
First things first, MMO and TCW 3 are not the same as engine oil, both products were designed to burn and burn cleaner than oil. Secondly take a new car into a dealer complaining that it uses a qt of oil/1600 miles and they'll tell you its normal. In fact a qt/1000 miles is considered normal, and I've heard cases where a qt/600 miles is considered normal. As I said I haven't wrecked a CC or O2 sensor yet, so I'm not worried. I'm still using it in my 3 vehicles, no worries at all. Opinions vary, lets see if this turns into a UCL bashing thread.
Well put. And that TCW3 really does burn clean!
It's supposed to burn clean. If it didn't I certainly wouldn't be using it in my gas tank. Some 2 stroke oils don't burn clean but tc-w3 oils are engineered to burn with no residue, which makes them perfect for ucl
