Did you happen to see the engine before the MMO use?
I saw it opened up for the VC gasket change, no sludge, not even a hint of varnish, it looked like new. Prior to that, I never saw the internals. 5000 mile dino OCI's, Long Island NY driving, lots of stop and go, and short trip use. The naysayers will probably say any engine would be spotless under those conditions, I'd doubt it though.
