MMO and Regane

The blind leading the blind. I get the feeling that threads like this are a stealth marketing campaign for MMO.

The only thing that you should put in your gas tank (after the early 80's) is the recommended octane gas, and occasionally a bottle of PEA based detergent FI cleaner (PEA helps clean carbon buildup off FI, intake valves, ect) . Anything else and you are asking for trouble.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I'm not blind, and I'm sorry to report the Turtle Wax people aren't sending me money or free product. I've realized the benefits of UCL along with an increase in mpgs once I started calculating mpgs again. I got lazy and stopped calculating for a long time, but all the members posting gains got me calculating again. For me it more than offsets the cost of the MMO. I'm happy to report 35+ years of using the product and no problems to report, just a nice running engine and some extra miles per tank full. YMMV

I don't think it will increase MPG, other than the butt dyno effect. If it did, the gov't would require it's use by law.
