I want to see the Cubs win the World Series. A 107 yr drought is too long. The Red Sox took 86 yrs to win it in'04. Except for the Patriots, I root for the under dogs

I've been a Toronto Blue Jays fan ever since they came to life in 1977, my dad took me to games that very first year when I was only 7 years old. But I really didn't understand the game at that young age, it wasn't until 1985 when the Jays won the AL East for the first time, that I really watched the game and understood it.
I really got into them yet again in 2013, my wife and I went to 8 Jays games that year, and in 2014 we went to even more, 16 in total, including one at Yankee Stadium. This year we saw even more games during the regular season, 20 in total, including one in Detroit on July the 4th. Things got real exciting for us Jays fans at the trade deadline when our already powerhouse team got a massive injection of talent in the form of David Price, Troy Tulowitzki, Ben Revere, Mark Lowe and LaTroy Hawkins. We were already super happy at the beginning of the season when we got Josh Donaldson (who is almost a lock for MVP this year) and Russell Martin. Another awesome piece of the puzzle for us at the end of the regular season was finding out that Marcus Stroman (who tore his ACL in spring training) would be ready to go for September! And he has been amazing on the mound!
My wife and I bought the entire post season package for the Jays, so we saw three games during the ALDS (including that crazy game 5 where things got crazy but then Jose Bautista saved the day with a 3 run home run and a killer bat flip to boot) and last night we saw the first home game of the ALCS, where the Jays won 11-8 over KC, thanks to home runs from Tulowitzki, Donaldson and Ryan Goins even got one!
Unfortunately right now the Jays are down 2-1 in this series to KC, however with two more games at home it might just end up being a 3-2 advantage for the Jays after Wednesday night's game. I'm really hoping they make it into the World Series, it has been an amazing atmosphere at every post season game we've been to so far and I don't want this ride to end! I was at the viewing party at the Skydome in 1992 for game 6 of the World Series when the Jays beat the Atlanta Braves for their first of two back to back titles, and that celebration afterwards was something I badly want to experience again this season!

The cubbies have their backs to the wall already. But nothing a 3 game sweep at home, if they have it in them could not fix.
