Can I use let say valvoline, castrol, idemitsu eneos or else meeting CVTF J4 in my Outlander ? Here is what their representative respond to that :
Many analyzes were carried out at our expense by national specialists (including the company Wear Check). We provided them with the parameters of our product in order to have a scale against which there could be a chemical comparison; none of the products offered as "compatible" products has so far met all of the minimum standards referred to in such a benchmarking (minimum set baseline)
So here goes the warranty if we are not getting ripped off by our beloved dealership
So, what do you think of that ? Looks like nothing but Diaqueen should be in my tranny .
