Merry HS 120C good deal

I bought this one yesterday after seeing Mr Subaru flogging it. I have the 175, Lisle and a couple of others but these are slightly smaller and a better fit for the smaller connectors common to Asian vehicles and have coated tips to protect those real fragile ones.

If the coating holds up and doesn't add too much bulk/contact area it's a good idea.

I don't think it will be the most durable coating, it looks like the same as the handles but that is okay, when it fails strip it off and have a smaller pair of the 175C. I thought about that too before buying in.

Merry 175 left, Lisle right.

In most cases the smaller footprint of the Merry is better to fit into crevices and slots where push tabs live. If the Lisle fits, it might be better to "spread the load" on plastic connectors

No but I have the Merry 175c which is very similar. I suspect they may be rebranded Merry? I wanted the 120C for the smaller size.

Wiring connector clips, super useful tools. For VW/Audi, Assenmacher and Baum have good ones for those cars.
