Collinite all the way. In my opinion the two are apples and oranges. Megs Ult is a great OTC product but Collinite is far and beyond more durable and comperable to Megs in terms of shine.
Honest question: has everyone who answered tried both or do you just like collinite?
I've used both (Megs Ultimate paste), Ive found me Megs FAR superior. You get what you pay for.

Collinite has to either be ordered online or some farm supply stores have them but the difference between the two is vast. M26 is more of a "beauty" wax. It offers very little in terms of durability. It does smell, and look nice. I've had a bottle for 6 years, and it's still >75% full -- if that says anything.

A "beauty" wax is more of your Pinnacle and Wolfgang waxes. You missed the bonanza that happened couple years ago; I only picked up couple of cans but some people went crazy as the price was insanely cheap. It even survives New England winter. A single can will last you a lifetime. Even after doing two cars and a minivan, the can is barely used.

Wicked jealous. Car looks great. I still can't figure out why they dropped M16. Maybe like you said, one can could last a lifetime. I keep searching the yard sales in the area hoping to find the one poor sap who doesn't know any better and sells a tub for $2
