Mechanic added oil additive without asking..

he didn't ask for any additives, I don't use oil additives and wouldn't want them in my vehicles.

Doesn't matter not worth stressing over nothing. Simply ask for it not to be added next time

Did they charge extra for it? If so I would ask for the money back for it since you didn't ask for it. Other than that I'd leave it alone and either look for another shop or make certain if you use them again state clearly no additives.

I'm not sure if this is been addressed but the real question is did they upsell you? Did you have to pay for that oil additive?

Not next time, now. I'd go in and ask for it to be drained and the oil changed.

Only if you want SA oil put in.
