I would. A 3 hatch is still a low-to-the-ground car with a lower seating position. Seats close to the floor are not comfortable to me, and I rarely find comfort in a sedan (or wagonlet, like a 3 hatch). If I wanted something this size, I'd look at the CX-3 over the 3 hatch 8 days a week.
(Though, to be fair, it looks like the CX-3 has an awfully high belt line as well. I probably wouldn't care for it either. Styling of many vehicles today, with "swoopy" sides with angled or curved door sills, don't really do it for me...)
