Ummmm, based on internet pricing I have seen, nope! Mazda3 is really the modern equivalent to my 1995 Escort, which it is based on. For cars made in Mexico, IMO very expensive for what you get. Not as good as Toyota, Ford, and probably Honda.
The only thing that Mazda does that I like is their lack of CVT or dual clutch "automatic" transmissions.
Your lack of experience of owning and buying one shows you are wrong based on the people who do.
