I want to see how this SN EP stuff holds up. For the trip I just did I used Wawa gas. 10% Ethanol. Sigh....

What road (freeway?).....allowed you to average 90 MPH?....You live in NJ....don't you?

NJ Turnpike. The average speed in the left hand lane is usually around 80mph. I've had state troopers fly up behind me while I'm doing 80mph and push me out of the lane.

Today I got lucky and several cars ahead of me were cruising well above 80 mph. Maybe the average was more like 80mph with periods of 90mph. It's not uncommon.

Go with the flow. Don't go in and out of lanes. Keep a safe following distance. I'm always as careful as I can be.

The GY Comfort Touring tires are excellent so far. Extremely quiet.

Fumotos are awesome. I've used them on 2 vehicles for over 300,000 miles of driving. Never an issue.

The M1 0w20 may handle extreme temperatures very well, but I'm not sold on it's long drain capability. The Tbn retention of the M1 SN stuff so far is mediocre IMO.

What do you consider long drain? A TBN of 2.5 for 8K OCI and very hard running? Sounds like 10K is a snap for the 0-20 in your engine.

I plan on running M1 EP 5w20 out to 12k in the Mazda. Maybe 15k.

That's what i'm running now in my Mazda6s.
1 yr. OCI M1 EP 5w20 at 10k miles now. By the time i get to the yr. mark, i'll have about 12-15k mi. on the oil.
I'll do a UOA to see how well it held up in this engine.(Duratec)
