This filter is off my 2023 Mazda CX-50 2.5S. The filter was in use for 9771 miles, 255 hours, and 7 months. Overall the filter held up well, I didn't notice any tears in the media. This filter was replaced with the same, 1WPE-14-302.

Believe it was made in Thailand, I don't have the box anymore to confirm. But it still doesn't have an ADBV.Still made in Thailand w/no ADBV?

Some of those filter end cap tools also have a hex nut so you can use a 6-point socket instead of the 1/4" square drive. When you push the tool all the way over a 65mm filter, you can't get the ratchet all the way in the hole. It will work if you just put the ratchet part way in, but not clicking in place.
No soft rubber ADBV is going to impeded any oil flow from a PD oil pump. If it did, no oil filter would have an ADBV.Looks like a well made filter, but wasn't sure about running one with an ADBV, so went to the Mazda OEM.
