I can't answer the above statement, but I do know the remote-control airplane, purchased for my five-year-old grandson last Christmas, lasted about 20 minutes.

I recall as a young boy in the mid '60's, shopping at a store with my father, and looking at a small handheld transistor radio. My father told me that I didn't want to buy it, as it was made in China, and was just junk that wouldn't last.
