MaxLife ATF ok for Dexron-IIE?

The label on Valvoline MaxLife makes no mention of Dexron-IIE, just II and III. Would it be ok to use it in my '94 Roadmaster Estate with the 4L60-E transmission where the manual states the ATF must meet Dexron-IIE specs?

Just went through this myself. Look for my post in the General sub-forum.

Valvoline kept it simple and just listed them as II, III, and VI. They skipped all the alphabet stuff.

Yes, Maxife Dex/Merc will work in your application.

My '05 4L60-E calls for III "H". It works for mine as well as all previous, to include your II "E".

Call 1800 TEAM VAL if you don't believe me (us).

That will be my selection for my MB ATs that spec Dex II.

GM specified III to replace Dexron IIE. Since Maxlife works where Dexron III was used, it will do fine.
