I was checking my records and came to realize I hadn't changed my dino oil in like 5800 miles , is this too long and will it have hurt anything ? Changed it today with Kendall semi synthetic with a pure one filter from advance auto because the semi synthetic was cheaper than all the other regular dino oils like havoline , penzoil , valvoline etc by 50 cents a quart minumium. Like 2.98 a quart for the Kendall. Is Kendall an ok oil , did a search but did not see too many comments on it .

5800 is nothing to worry about. Several of us do 5000 OCI on dino oil regularly

Kendall was GREAT when it was the "green oil"...now it's just like any other stuff at Wal*Mart.

Kendall is now simply a Conoco Phillips label. Good oil, I have run alot of Conoco oils includiding Tropartic and Motorcraft labels.
